Facial Filler

Facial Filler

At RR Medspa, we only use FDA-approved hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers that can be used to restore lost volume, add definition, and contour your natural features.

Currently, we're able to offer facial filler for the following areas:

  • nasolabial folds

  • marionette lines

  • chin

  • cheeks

  • jaw

We currently do not plan to offer undereye filler or liquid nose jobs due to the high risks involved with placing filler in these two areas of the face. Your safety is our top priority, and if you choose to pursue these treatments we encourage you to see a board-certified plastic surgeon for a consultation instead.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a hyaluronic acid dermal filler?

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a naturally occurring sugar in the body that helps facilitate the skin’s ability to stay hydrated. It's a common ingredient you'll find in hydrating skincare products and serums. Hyaluronic acid fillers are body-safe clear gels that, when injected beneath the skin, can help to fill in facial wrinkles, restore volume loss, and refine your facial features.

How do HA fillers work?

HA fillers work by attracting and retaining water molecules, which helps to plump up and hydrate the skin. This results in a smoother appearance and improved volume in areas of the face that have lost fullness due to aging or other factors.

How long do HA fillers last?

The duration of results varies depending on factors such as the type of filler used, the treated area, individual metabolism, and lifestyle factors. Generally, HA fillers last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years before gradually being metabolized by the body.

Can HA fillers be dissolved if I'm not satisfied with the results?

Yes, hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved using an enzyme called hyaluronidase. This is a safe and effective procedure performed by healthcare providers to reverse the effects of HA fillers if needed. However, at RR Medspa our philosophy is to go slow and low to ensure that you're never overdone or dissatisfied with your results. We always schedule two week post-treatment appointments to ensure that you're satisfied with how everything is looking as well!
